Seeing change through your child’s eyes

Who will pick me up? Will I find a friend? Is it OK to miss someone? A practical plan for adults can still leave a child with many questions. Conversation and creative activities give those questions room.

We neither assume nor rule out an anxiety disorder. Strong, persistent or limiting separation anxiety needs professional assessment.

Creating a sense of what comes next

  • Collecting questions and worries
  • Making routines and arrangements predictable
  • Noticing strengths and trusted people
  • Preparing small steps into something new
  • Allowing mixed feelings

With parents alongside

We discuss ways to support your child without dismissing their feelings. A transition does not have to feel easy immediately. What matters is noticing how your child is coping and when further help is needed.

Child coaching is available from age six. Coaching is not offered for children under six, and forced separation is not part of the approach.

For international families

A new country may also mean a new language and school system. Sessions are available in English and German. For online work, we first confirm that the format and your location are suitable.
