When concentration difficulties run the week at home
The worksheet is on the table. The pencil rolls. Five minutes later the child is in the kitchen, at the window, arguing about an eraser. Parents in Berlin rarely arrive saying concentration difficulties. They arrive with “it will not start”, “it does not listen”, “after school there is nothing left”.
That is not laziness. It is a signal that the task, the noise or the tiredness has become larger than your child can carry in one stretch.
What kids coaching actually does here
I work educationally: a smaller start, a clock that does not negotiate, words for “I cannot” without blame. Parents often get clarity first — what is distraction, what is overload, and that you do not have to bolt anyone to a chair. The child practises the next short step without being explained in front of the class.
I do not diagnose and I do not play at treatment. Aylin Yonca, kids life coach with school practice and a B.Sc. in Psychology: the next step is still a conversation with you.
Berlin in person — online in Germany and worldwide
In person in Berlin, without a clinic corridor. Appointments sit so the afternoon is not school a third time. If you cannot travel, we work online — in Germany or worldwide.
If tests own the evening, see exam anxiety. If phones and consoles snap the thread, see screens. For reading: the concentration note.
The first step is a free parent conversation
I meet a parent before I meet the child. Sometimes coaching is the wrong next step — I will say that. Packages come afterwards. Short answers live in the FAQ.
