Sibling rivalry: in-person kids coaching in Berlin

Two children, one sofa, a running fairness tally: kids life coaching for sibling rivalry in Berlin — after the clash, not as a referee.

Ways into this topic

When the fairness ledger never closes

One child is already counting who got the bigger slice. The other has claimed the window seat and gone quiet — until a hand reaches for the shared controller. In a Berlin kitchen after school that can look small. Then you notice you have spent three evenings as the referee.

Sibling rivalry is often not two temperaments colliding. It is rank, comparison, the sense of vanishing the moment the other person enters. Some children go loud. Some collect evidence. Coaching does not stamp a character. It looks for what sits before “that is unfair”.

If confidence is thin, angry outbursts swallow the room, or screens are the fuse, that belongs in the picture — without forcing everything onto one topic.

The article on sibling rivalry is for the home week. This page is the frame: kids life coaching in Berlin.

What the Berlin room is actually for

Usually one child sits in the room, not the whole household. Parents leave with a clearer line about what they will no longer decide in the second it happens. The child practises sentences that are not only a charge — and learns that nobody has to hover while they name where they feel they came off worse.

Families from Charlottenburg, Wilmersdorf, Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg or Mitte come when the shared bedroom has no pause left — or when a phone already filmed the fight “as proof”. In the room I see the pencil snap, the chair tip, the sudden freeze.

A table, paper, time after school — not a clinic corridor. I am not the new referee. If safety is missing, coaching is the wrong service.

Distance work when the other child is next door

When Berlin is too far, we work online — in Germany or worldwide — once there is a corner where the sibling is not listening in. Rivalry plus an audience in the background becomes theatre.

Start with the parent, not a verdict

I speak with you first: who keeps the list, what school is writing, where you fear you are picking a favourite. Sometimes coaching is wrong. I will say that. Packages later. Short questions: FAQ.

Questions parents ask

Do both children have to sit in the same session?

Usually not. Often one child keeps the ledger and the other goes quiet. The hour is a room for one child. Parents sort at home what they will no longer decide in the second it happens.

Is sibling rivalry already a diagnosis?

No. Rivalry names what happened at the table this week, not a disorder. Coaching practises exits and language. It does not stamp and it does not replace therapy.

Do we have to pick a package first?

No. A free parent conversation first. Then you can look at [packages](/en/packages) in peace.

What if the fight is always about a phone or a console?

Then the device belongs on the table, without blaming screens for everything. Also read [digital balance](/en/services/digitale-balance).
